After a busy summer during which SCENATET performed Joanna Bailies work Analogue at the Heroines of Sound festival in Berlin, it is now time to look forward to an eventful autumn with many concerts as well as CD releases.
As early as next week it is possible to experience SCENATET live at Nordic Music Days’ eight-hour long concert event Jouissance, which contains more than 40 concerts on 16 stages in three unique buildings on Slotsholmen in Copenhagen. SCENATET will perform works by Allan Gravgaard Madsen and Outi Tarkiainen in the Black Diamond during the afternoon.
In the early summer SCENATET went in the recording studio with Danish composer Jeppe Just Christensen and his Institute to record a brand new work composed for the two ensembles. The CD is released by the record company Dacapo in October.
Autumn offers several releases with SCENATET, so stay tuned!
One of Autumn’s main acts for SCENATET will be the performance of Infinito Nero by Italian composer Salvator Sciarrino. The work is a monodrama with the highly symbolic subtitle One Act Ecstasy and will be performed four times in November.
November closes, for SCENATETs part, with a trip to Toulouse, where SCENATET will go on stage at the Théâtre National de Toulouse with François Sarhan's L’Nfer - an excerpt from Ephemere Enchaine, which was performed at this year SPOR Festival. - See the pictures from that concert here and a video clip from the concert here
Last but not least SCENATET is happy to announce that we have received support from The Danish Arts Foundation to produce and release an art music film based on the piece Angel View by composer Juliana Hodkinson.
