At Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival 2011 SCENATET presents a portrait of Danish composer Bent Sørensen which includes a silent documentary film following the composer in his home. From making coffee to composing, SCENATET accompanies footage of Sørensen’s daily routine with live performances of some of his most important works so that the still-life reality of the composer turns into a magical meeting of pictures and sound, reality and abstraction.
