In June SCENATET plays at the Danish festival Klang – Copenhagen Avantgarde Music Festival. All the pieces on the program will bring forward SCENATET’s strengths in performing theatrical, conceptual and performative compositions while pushing the boundaries of what an audience can expect of a concert.
Two World Premieres are on the program; e by the Danish composer Simon Løffler and Talk Talk Talk by Norwegian composer Kristin Bolstad. Løffler’s piece will make the stage bathe in triangular fluorescent lights and Bolstad will ask questions of “what we really are talking with each other about”.
Two other devoted collaborators of SCENATET will have pieces on the program; the Danish composers Niels Rønsholdt and Kaj Duncan David. The audience will experience Kaj Duncan’s effectfully choreographed No New Good News, which was premiered at SPOR festival 2014 and Niels Rønsholdt’s Shame. Shame is a piece focusing on innocence and the loss of it – it focuses on the child’s the idiot or the music’s purity against the boldness of the adult and artists.
