Bergen International Festival 2012 has commissioned completely new Living Room Concerts. The Living Room is created as concert installations by composer Bent Sørensen and artist Anna Berit Asp Christensen. New music mixed with glimpses of existing music and merged with text and visual elements of the private homes as scenography and concert hall at once.

This evening SCENATET will perform in the home of musician Leif Ove Andsnes at Kalvedalsveien 57 in Bergen. The concert installation is based on the stories and music that already exist in the artist’s home. Audio and text will move the audience along the stairs and through the different rooms, but the audience must also go for the sound – move from one room to another and go on the trail of the house’s anatomy and as guests in private homes become part of the immediate atmosphere of the house.
