Place: Musikhuset København
Together with choreographer Tim Matiakis and composer Niels Rønsholdt, Scenatet has created a universe that, through a symbiosis of music and movement, gives us an insight into a secret community, its routines and memories.
We step into a universe in which sound landscapes, colored textiles and the choreography of the body create the sensation of an inextricably connected time that can be experienced both as past and future. Memoriam unfolds in a sensory universe of reminiscences and premonitions, and is centered around mirroring as a metaphor for our present and how past and future are inextricably linked.
On stage is the world-renowned house dancer Marie Kaae Schmidt together with Scenatet’s ensemble: Kasia Ziminska (violin & viola), Katrine Grarup Elbo (violin), Matias Seibæk (percussion), Signe Asmussen (soprano) and Mathias Monrad Møller (tenor).
Memoriam is part of CPH STAGE 2023
