Place: Philharmonie Luxembourg
On February 1 SCENATET will present a rich program at the music series Musiques d’aujourd’hui at Philharmonie Luxembourg.
“The series «Musiques d’aujourd’hui» reveals contemporary music as an art truly in and of the present. From symphony orchestra to flying fish, from Berio’s milestone Sinfonia to world premieres by the youngest generation of composers. With Talea from New York, Resonanz from Hamburg and Scenatet from Copenhagen, the series presents three of the most original young ensembles along with established favourites such as Pierre-Laurent Aimard.” (Philharmonie Luxembourg)
SCENATET is looking forward to be performing 6 works: Wings by Cathy van Eck, Freunde and Being Apu Sarkar by Christian Winther Christensen, Why Linger You Trembling in You Shell? by Juliana Hodkinson, Next To Beside Besides by Simon Steen-Andersen and Jessie Marino’s The Whale is a Capital Fish.
