SCENATET are going to New York to perform a new version of the work New York Girls together with Object Collection called New York Girls 2: Space Control.

New York Girls (2012) is created by Object Collection and works with the group’s concerns of simultaneity, densely layered material, and the manipulation of objects and processes. The piece premiered in Denmark during SPOR festival 2014, which also marked the beginning of the collaboration between SCENATET and Object Collection. The new version is called New York Girls 2: Space Control and at the time Object Collection is in the process of finalizing the new version written specifically for SCENATET and a group of local musicians from New York.

Object Collection was founded in 2004 by writer and director Kara Feely (b. 1976) and composer and musician Travis Just (b. 1976). Based in Brooklyn, the group operates within the intersecting practices of experimental music, performance and theatre.
