When SCENATET goes on stage to open SPOR festival, the programme includes two significant premieres. SPOR festival has commissioned a piece for SCENATET written by Jessie Marino (US) in line with the theme of the festival – What You See Is (Not) What You Get! Jessie Marino’s work is characterised by a creative and colourful approach to the staging of music. The second premiere of the concert is Squawk by Danish Nicolai Worsaae. This piece for string quartet, video and electronics explores the tensions between live performance and fragmented replays.

Furthermore the concert presents three Danish premieres: SCENATET performs the audio-visual piece Hello by German composer Alexander Schubert, in which the ensemble interprets the filmed gestures made by the composer and translates them into music. We present Alle Verbindungen gelten nur jetzt by Austrian Eva Reiter, a piece that plays with instrumental relationships, disruptions and collisions. Last but not least we will present a new version of the piece Computer Music by Danish Kaj Duncan David.
